This Privacy Policy describes how Menumize — owned and managed by Naya Farms (نايا للأعلاف والدواجن) — collects, uses, and shares information when you use our restaurant growth platform. It applies to venue owners and staff using the platform, and to guests interacting with venues that use Menumize.
Information we collect
Menumize collects information in two contexts: from venue operators who use the platform, and from restaurant guests who interact with venues that use Menumize.
Platform users (venue owners and staff): When you register an account we collect your name, email address, phone number, and business information. Payment and billing details are collected by our payment provider, Paddle, and are not stored on Menumize servers. We also collect usage data — features accessed, actions taken, and session activity — to operate and improve the platform.
Restaurant guests: Venues using Menumize may capture guest phone numbers (the primary identifier in GCC markets), names, visit history, feedback ratings, and loyalty activity. This data is collected by the venue and processed by Menumize on the venue's behalf as a data processor. Menumize does not use guest data for its own marketing purposes.
Automatically collected data: When you visit our marketing website or use the platform, we automatically collect standard log data including IP address, browser type, referring URL, and pages visited. This data is used solely for security, fraud prevention, and operational monitoring.
How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, maintain, and improve the Menumize platform
- Process payments and manage your subscription via Paddle
- Send service communications including account setup, billing, and support
- Enable WhatsApp messaging to restaurant guests on behalf of venues, where guests have provided consent
- Generate guest intelligence, segmentation, and analytics for venue operators
- Detect, investigate, and prevent fraud and security incidents
- Comply with applicable legal obligations in Lebanon and GCC jurisdictions
We do not sell personal data to third parties. We do not use guest data collected on behalf of venues for advertising, profiling, or any purpose beyond the services described in these policies.
Onboarding and product emails
When you sign up for Menumize as a venue owner, we send a small number of onboarding and product emails to help you get started: a welcome message, occasional setup tips during your first two weeks, and notifications about subscription changes (renewals, payment issues, plan changes, cancellation). These emails are sent on behalf of Menumize via Resend, our transactional email provider.
We rely on the legitimate interest legal basis (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f)) for these communications, as part of the existing B2B service relationship with you as a paying or trialling customer. Account-related notifications (billing, security, account changes) are sent regardless of marketing preferences because they are necessary to operate the service.
You can opt out of onboarding and marketing emails at any time:
- Click the Unsubscribe link in the footer of any marketing email — one click, no login required
- Toggle Receive onboarding tips and product updates off in your account settings inside the platform

Opting out is immediate. You will still receive critical account notifications (subscription receipts, security alerts, staff invites you initiated, etc.) because these are transactional rather than marketing.
Data retention
We retain platform account data for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide our services. If you cancel your subscription, your account data is retained for 90 days to allow for recovery requests, after which it is permanently deleted.
Guest data collected on behalf of a venue is retained for the period specified in our Data Processing Addendum. Venue operators may request deletion of their guest data at any time by contacting us at info@menumize.com.
Anonymised, aggregated analytics data — from which no individual can be identified — may be retained indefinitely to improve our services.
Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — receive a copy of personal data we hold about you
- Rectification — have inaccurate or incomplete data corrected
- Erasure — request deletion of your personal data
- Portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection — object to certain processing activities
- Restriction — request that we limit how we process your data in certain circumstances
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at info@menumize.com. We will respond within 30 days. Note that some rights apply only to personal data about you directly, not to data you hold as a venue operator about your guests.
International transfers
Menumize is owned and operated by Naya Farms, registered in Lebanon. Our core infrastructure sub-processors — Vercel and Neon — are based in the United States. Data transfers to these processors are conducted under standard contractual clauses or equivalent transfer mechanisms recognised under applicable law.
WhatsApp messages sent to restaurant guests are processed through Meta's global infrastructure. By enabling WhatsApp messaging features in Menumize, venue operators acknowledge that message content is processed by Meta in accordance with Meta's own data policies.
We take reasonable steps to ensure that data transferred internationally receives a level of protection equivalent to that required under applicable GCC data protection laws, including Saudi Arabia's PDPL and Qatar's PDPL.
Children's privacy
The Menumize platform is intended for use by businesses and their adult staff members. It is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at info@menumize.com and we will delete it promptly.
